Hubs and I have passed this place on every trip to FMB. Though we live 40 minutes away, We decided to head there last night for dinner since it is off-season. During season, this place always looks beyond packed so we try to avoid the area. While waiting for our reserved table at 6 PM, we popped into the bar. After spending a few minutes with Matt the bartender, we decided to move to the bar area to eat and forego the reservation (note: cannot reserve bar tables). What a wonderful choice this was! First of all, their happy hour ran from 4 until 7 PM and included special pricing on all drinks and bar appetizers. Matt and his sidekick Judy were fun, playful, and really made our night enjoyable. Matt had some incredible suggestions on their menu which we tried… all were outstanding but definitely GET THE TUNA! The tuba had a light glaze and was some of the absolute best we’ve had anywhere. The ginger and Wasabi were spot on as well. After our appetizers, we received the salads that went with our entrées, plus warm bread. Really one of the best seafood restaurants in all of FMB. Fresh, great selection and good service. Outstanding on all levels. Clams casino was my favorite dish.

Donna did an excellent job of pointing out the best selections available on the extensive menu. The clam chowder was excellent rich and creamy and full of clams. Gotta be one of the best I’ve eaten.

We went there for happy hour at 4:00 p.m. There were several choices...we chose shrimp and fish dip! Both were excellent! The next trip I had casino clams, and Rockefeller oysters! I'd recommend getting there early for parking is limited!

I stopped in for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised — the deals were fantastic, and the selection didn’t disappoint. The service was attentive and friendly, which really added to the experience. The fish was impressively fresh, clearly a highlight of the menu. That said, the atmosphere was mixed. The crowd skewed much older, which may or may not suit your vibe. What really took away from the experience was the outdoor smoking — the smell carried into the restaurant and made it hard to enjoy the meal fully. Overall, a place with great service, fresh seafood, and an unbeatable happy hour, but the smoking issue definitely needs to be addressed for a more comfortable dining experience.
